Raw Chocolate Truffle Recipes
Jaffa Flavour
1 Cup Dates- soaked in the juice of 1 orange
¾ Cup of Ground Flaxseeds (or use nut/seed of choice)
2 Tablespoons of Cacao
1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil
2 Tablespoons of Orange rind chopped -plus 2 Tablespoons extra for topping.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until well combined. Roll in to small bite-sized balls and place on a plate lined with greaseproof paper. Pop in the freezer to set.
Mint Flavour
1 Cup Dates
1/2 Cup of Ground Flaxseeds (or use nut/seed of choice)
2 Tablespoons of Cacao
1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil
Small bunch of fresh mint (add to taste)
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until well combined. Roll in to small bite-sized balls and place on a plate lined with greaseproof paper. Pop in the freezer to set.
Chocolate coating
2 Tablespoons of Coconut oil liquid form (may need to be heated)
2 Tablespoons of Cacao
Optional- Sweetener of choice to taste (Brown rice syrup, agave, maple syrup, raw honey)
Combine all ingredients in a small dish. Stir until well combined. Dip chilled truffles into chocolate and place back on lined plate. Store in the freezer or refrigerator.
